Native to the Annamite Mountains bordering Vietnam and Laos on the continent of Asia, the saola is such an elusive creature that it has only been photographed in the wild three times, and wildlife specialists have dubbed it the “Asian Unicorn” due to its almost-mythical existence. While the exact number of the current saola population remains unknown, it is estimated to veer around a few hundred at most due to factors like hunting and habitat loss.

This is my new daily perfume. Light and fresh.

Playful, refined and delicious

I can't tell you how much I adore this scent. It is bright and sweet. There is no overwhelming scent of fruit or floral and all of the notes work well together. I typically enjoy fruity and citrus scents and I do not enjoy gourmond or earthy smells. This hits the marks according to my typical taste in scents.

Smelling good for a cause

I got a sample of Saola Asian Unicorn from Scentbird and absolutely fell in love. I even ordered a second one. However, I knew at some point I had to own a full bottle. It’s a warm and fruity fragrance that is playfully mature. It wears wonderfully and I enjoy getting whiffs of it throughout the work day. It’s become an almost everyday smell for me. The fact that this brand is environmentally conscious and donates funds towards specific foundations is just the cherry on top.
