Native to the Annamite Mountains bordering Vietnam and Laos on the continent of Asia, the saola is such an elusive creature that it has only been photographed in the wild three times, and wildlife specialists have dubbed it the “Asian Unicorn” due to its almost-mythical existence. While the exact number of the current saola population remains unknown, it is estimated to veer around a few hundred at most due to factors like hunting and habitat loss.

“We are delighted to partner with Sanctuary for the release of this extra special Saola scent. Sanctuary has raised incredible support for other rare species so far - we are so happy to see Saola added to their collection. Donations to the Saola Foundation will directly support our efforts to find and save the Critically Endangered Saola in Lao PDR, and will contribute to the local livelihoods of rural communities that live near Saola habitat within the Annamite Mountains."

I love this scent! It’s very fragrantly. I tested it on “Scentbird” originally but I couldn’t get enough of it. I’m big on scents so this one is like sweet detergent. It’s not too harsh yet it’s a good balance of boldness. I like smelling scrumptious and I already got complimented just by walking in a room. I like the bottle, it comes in to. There’s no edges to get poked from or corners that are sharp and blocky. It’s a nice shape and size to keep on a dresser top or place in your bag.
