The smaller, more elusive cousin of the African Savanna Elephant (and the smallest of the three living elephant species), the African Forest Elephant calls the dense tropical forests of west and central Africa home, and is defined by its oval-shaped ears and downward-facing tusk. These herbivores are often referred to as "the mega-gardeners of the forest" and live in family groups of about 20 elephants, migrating towards water sources during the dry seasons, and back to the lush forests during the rainy season. Unfortunately, factors like deforestation and poaching put them at risk for extinction.

African forest but Doesn’t smell like elephant

Yeah there isn’t really a musky or like harshness to this which don’t get me wrong I like it a lot! I wear it casually like a daily scent and it is very sweet and not elephant like which is okay! But just sayin for the review there is no elephant present, the elephant is not in the room. Very good still!

Really good but profile not as advertised IMO

I bought the small vial because of the advertised sage, I love that smell, but the scent I got was very different (still really good though). The best way to describe it is that you are eating a fresh brownie with a large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on top right outside of a woodshop that happens to have a few herbs on the window-sill. You've got some new leather boots on too.

Basically, I did not get any sage, but I did smell loads of chocolate and vanilla, with a hint of fresh saw dust and a smidge of treated leather. I do like the smell I got, it's really good, I was just hoping for something different.

Amazing scent for an amazing cause!

I first learned about this company from my brother who got this as his last scentbird sample. I tried it out and absolutely loved it! Then after doing research and reading about this mission I just had to get a bottle! I like that the scent is both "light and strong", it's got a nice soft undertone that's kinda fruity with a woodsy, Earthy type overtone. It's a nice complex mix (even though I don't know how to fully explain cologne) that's pretty unisex but leans more masculine for sure! I would definitely buy again, especially because of the cause that's very close to my heart and personal life!
