The Javan rhino is the most threatened of the five rhino species - with only 75 thought to be left in existence - due to factors like poaching, natural catastrophes, and habitat loss. Once found throughout all of Southeast Asia, the Javan Rhino has lived exclusively in Java, Indonesia since 2010 when the last living Rhino in Vietnam was poached. This solitary creature feeds on leaves, soft shoots, or fruits of high-growing woody plants.
